Shopping Ads Solutions Labs
The operating system for customer acquisition.
BackOffice turns what an eCommerce team knows about its brand, products, customers and results into clear strategy, ad copy, creative briefs and production work. All in one connected flow.
The problem
Customer acquisition runs on knowledge. Most teams scatter it everywhere.
The brand lives in a deck. Products live in Shopify. Customer research lives in a document. Creative briefs live in chat. Results live in ad platforms. Every handoff drops context.
Context disappears
The person writing the ad rarely has the full product, customer and business picture.
Work starts over
Teams repeat research, rebuild briefs and explain the same decisions in different tools.
Learning does not compound
What worked, what failed and why rarely makes it into the next round of work.
Why we built it
We did not begin with a software idea. We began with the work.
Managing acquisition for eCommerce brands means making hundreds of connected decisions about products, customers, offers, creative, campaigns and profit.
Our agency kept seeing the same problem: even strong teams lose time and quality when those decisions live in separate tools. So we turned our operating playbook into software.
BackOffice is the agency’s memory, workflow and AI co-pilot in one place.
How it works
One clear path from what the brand knows to what the market sees.
The value is not another dashboard. It is the link between each decision.
Learn the brand
Collect the brand rules, business context and approved source material the team should use.
Map the products
Bring in products and collections from Shopify, then keep benefits, proof, pricing and imagery together.
Understand the customer
Build ideal customer profiles from jobs, pains, objections, awareness, search demand and competitor evidence.
Choose the strategy
Connect each product and customer to the right concept, angle, offer and business goal.
Make the work
Create channel-ready copy, visual direction and a complete creative brief from approved inputs.
Run and review production
Assign work, submit assets, review changes, approve final creative and keep it in one library.
The co-pilot
AI helps the team move faster. It does not get the final word.
BackOffice gives AI the structured context an experienced acquisition team uses, then puts people at the approval points that matter.
The co-pilot can
- Research approved public sources
- Draft customer profiles and concepts
- Write copy for each ad placement
- Assemble connected creative briefs
The team controls
- The sources, products and goals
- Every edit and approval
- Who can access each client
- Any material change to an ad account
The advantage is not a better prompt. It is keeping the right context connected from one decision to the next.
What is built
Already running our real workflow.
BackOffice is a working internal product, not a slide deck. Our team uses it to organize client knowledge and move strategy into production.
One client knowledge system
Brand, products, customers, competitors, offers, measurement, operations and compliance stay together.
Source-backed AI workspaces
Research and drafts stay structured, reviewable and tied to the exact client, product and customer.
Creative operations
Copy, visual direction, briefs, assignments, submissions, reviews and final assets follow one workflow.
Useful connections
Shopify product import, authorized Google Ads API tools and standalone read-only YouTube connections bring outside information into the same operating system.
Where it goes
From agency back office to the operating layer for acquisition teams.
Today BackOffice helps our agency run more consistent work. The company we are building gives in-house teams and agencies the same connected system: one place to know the customer, decide what to say, make the creative, launch responsibly and learn what to do next.
Our goal is simple: make expert customer acquisition repeatable.
Responsible by design
Client data stays protected. People stay accountable.
Client-authorized access
Connected advertising and channel data is used only for accounts a client has authorized Shopping Ads Solutions to access or manage.
Human approval
Recommendations, drafts and material campaign changes require review by authorized agency personnel.
Client separation
Each client has standalone platform connections. One client’s credentials, account information and synchronized data are not made available to another client, sold or used for unrelated purposes.
Current Google Ads API use
Our current Google Ads API integration is for authorized Shopping Ads Solutions personnel. Its first phase uses Keyword Planning Services to retrieve keyword ideas and historical search metrics. It is not a public self-service connection. Credentials and access are role-based, and material changes are not sent to Google Ads without human review.

Read-only YouTube connections
BackOffice lets an authorized agency or brand user connect a YouTube account to one selected client workspace through Google OAuth. Agency users may manage several clients and brand users may manage one brand, but every YouTube connection, credential set and synchronized channel data remains standalone and dedicated to that client.
The connection requests only Google’s read-only youtube.readonly permission. It can retrieve authorized channel, video and playlist identifiers and metadata for display, synchronization, reporting, analysis and content planning. It cannot upload, edit, delete or publish videos, playlists or comments, manage subscriptions or otherwise change the connected YouTube account.
Authorized users can disconnect the integration in BackOffice or revoke it in their Google Account. For data use, retention and deletion details, read our Privacy Policy.

BackOffice
Built from the work. Built for the teams doing it.
We are turning the system we built to run our own acquisition work into the operating system other teams can use.
